Taal’s pride in Justice Conrado V. Sanchez lies not only in his being at one time a justice of the highest court of the land but also in the unselfish services he rendered for free to the financially handicapped persons who needed his help. There was one who languished in jail for a crime he had not committed because he could not afford a counsel before he was proven innocent by the brilliant yet benevolent Justice.
Conrado V. Sanchez was born in Taal, Batangas, on February 19, 1900, son of Vicente Sanchez and Severina Villanueva. Justice Sanchez is remarried this time to Clarita Tankiang, a national beauty. By his first wife Virginia Estrella, a prominent civic leader in her lifetime, he has four Children- Conrado Jr., Renato, Erlinda and Wilfredo.
